This is the schedule for the 2019 Age Gap Exchange. 

Nominations: January 25th - February 2nd
Signups: February 5th - February 13th
Assignments out by no later than: February 17th
Assignments due by: March 30th
Works revealed: April 6th
Creators revealed: April 13th

All times are 9PM Eastern Time.

I'm trying to sort out tricky fandom categorization as early as possible; if you want to add your input this post is the place to do so.

Fandom Categorization

I'm going to try to make this post beforehand, to clarify some issues that cropped up last year. In the interest of fairness and giving everyone a chance to respond, I won't approve any of these fandoms until the 27th (two days after nominations open). These fandom categorizations are now final.

For franchises and other fandoms liable to have 'all media types' nominations that became issues last year, the solutions were as below. If anyone has any issues with these categorizations please comment on this post. 

Comics
All comics go under an umbrella tag (eg: DCU Comics) but if you want a specific version of a character/relationship you can disambiguate as necessary.

DCEU
Will be under DCEU, not as individual movies.

DC's Arrowverse
Arrowverse will be an umbrella tag. Unrelated shows like Smallville will be nominated separately.

Doctor Who
Who (2005) will be its own fandom. Is there any accepted grouping(s) for pre-2005?

Marvel (movies/TV)
Marvel Cinematic Universe movies will be under one umbrella and non-MCU Marvel movies will be under individual franchises/titles. TV shows will be under individual titles.

Power Rangers
Will be split into movies and TV, unless anyone has any objections.

Star Trek
Will be grouped under individual movie/TV series (TOS/AOS/TNG etc).

Star Wars
Will be divided into OT/PT/ST/Rebels/Clone Wars. For other EU materials, if nominated, groupings will be 'Star Wars Comics', 'Star Wars Video Games', 'Star Wars Legends Books' etc., unless there's a strong preference for individual titles.

Tolkien
Will be divided into LotR books/LotR movies/Hobbit book/Hobbit movies/Silmarillion & histories/other individual books/other material. All Media Types won't be allowed.

X-Men movies
Was nominated under a general 'X-Men movieverse' tag last year, with disambiguation if necessary to separate original and alternate timeline movies.

Are there any other fandoms that might require this kind of clarification?
